About the role
About the Team
The B2B Content team helps business audiences understand what AI makes possible and how to put it to work. We develop narrative, editorial, demo, and adoption programs that connect OpenAI’s products to concrete business value.
We partner closely with Product Marketing, Demand Generation, Customer Education, Sales, and other teams to create content that is useful on its own and supports the broader customer journey.
We value people who are eager to learn, have a bias for action, and look beyond the immediate deliverable. We build the tools, systems, and shared practices that help the whole team produce better work over time.
About the Role
We’re looking for a Product Content Creator to help create the next generation of AI-native marketing content. You’ll develop videos, interactive tutorials, live demos, written guides, and other experiences that help business audiences understand what AI makes possible and how it applies to their work.
This is a hands-on creative role spanning demand generation and product adoption. You’ll explore product capabilities, build and test workflows, and produce content for campaigns that introduce people to useful ideas and help them put those ideas into practice. You’ll maintain evergreen campaign content and develop new adoption campaigns, using practical workflows, research, and thought leadership as source material.
You’ll use Codex and other AI tools to prototype ideas and create experiences that would previously have required a larger production team. We’re looking for the fluency of a coding-assistant power user; an engineering background isn’t required. Strong judgment about the idea, the audience, and the finished experience matters as much as the ability to build it.
You’ll partner with Product Marketing on positioning and product accuracy, Demand Generation on campaign goals and distribution needs, and Demo Studio on demonstrations and production. You’ll own the content from concept through delivery, choosing the format that best serves the idea and the audience. This is an individual-contributor role for someone who enjoys making, explaining, experimenting, and shipping.
The role is hybrid and will be based in San Francisco, Monday through Wednesday. Thursday and Friday are work-from-home days, with occasional in-office attendance as needed for live webinars.
In this role, you will:
- Develop creative concepts and produce content for Demand Generation campaigns, grounded in audience needs, product workflows, research, and expert perspectives.
- Personally create videos, interactive tutorials, live demos, and written guides, carrying work from the initial idea through a finished asset.
- Use Codex and other AI tools to build and test workflows, prototype interactive experiences, and improve how content is produced.
- Develop and test original content formats, learn from audience response, and turn the strongest ideas into recurring series or reusable campaign experiences. Choose formats for what they help the audience understand or do.
- Develop webinar content with the webinar strategist, including the storyline, presentation, demonstration, and useful follow-up resources.
- Work with Product Marketing, subject-matter experts, and Demo Studio to make content accurate, substantive, and engaging.
- Work with customer-facing teams to learn how people actually use the products, where they get stuck, and which workflows are worth demonstrating. Use those insights to develop relevant stories and adoption content.
- Adapt strong ideas across formats and audiences while giving each asset a clear purpose within the campaign.
- Deliver usable campaign assets to Demand Generation, with clear audience framing, supporting copy, and a proposed next action.
- Use audience feedback and campaign results with DG to improve the content, and keep reusable workflows, examples, and source material current.
- Maintain evergreen campaign content, updating workflows, demonstrations, and supporting resources as products and audience needs change.
- Create adoption campaign content that helps people try relevant workflows, overcome common difficulties, and continue using them in their work.
- Review campaign results and audience feedback with partners to understand both what attracts interest and what helps people successfully use the product.
You might thrive in this role if you:
- Have a portfolio of substantive content you personally created across several formats, such as video, interactive tutorials, live demos, and written guides. Work projects, side projects, and experiments driven by your own curiosity are all relevant—we want to understand what you made and the decisions behind it.
- Are a confident user of Codex or comparable coding assistants and can show how you used them to build, test, and improve something useful. An engineering background isn’t required.
- Bring strong creative and editorial judgment: you can recognize an interesting idea, explain why a format works, and improve an experience beyond the first version.
- Can learn a product deeply enough to demonstrate real workflows and explain them clearly to business audiences with different levels of technical fluency.
- Write clearly, communicate well on video or in live demonstrations, and can turn complex material into something people want to spend time with.
- Understand how content supports marketing campaigns and can work with Demand Generation on audience needs, campaign goals, and what the results suggest changing.
- Take ownership from an ambiguous brief through delivery, balancing experimentation with the practical work required to ship.
- May have developed these skills in product marketing, developer relations, product education, creative technology, or content marketing.
