About the role
Role Description Spin.AI is looking for a highly analytical, hands-on Growth Marketing Lead to own the performance engine behind our inbound marketing strategy across Spin.AI’s portfolio: including Backup (Mission critical SaaS apps), Security (DLP and Browser), and Atlassian backup/ecosystem. This person will connect organic, paid, social, web, retargeting, nurture, conversion, and performance measurement into a cohesive inbound growth engine. You'll partner closely with our Director of Marketing to take strong stories, campaigns, content, and creative and ensure they reach the right audiences, convert effectively, and contribute to a measurable pipeline. You'll serve as the internal owner of growth performance, connecting marketing programs, external agencies and freelancers, our fractional Marketing Operations support, data, and funnel performance. You'll have significant ownership and autonomy in this role. We're hiring you for your expertise, and we trust you to use it. We want you to challenge assumptions, bring forward ideas, tell us when you think there's a better way, and make decisions within your area of ownership. You won't have someone standing over you telling you how to do your job; you'll have the space and support to figure out what will drive results and execute against it.

Campaign Activation & Distribution
•
Partner closely with the Director of Marketing to turn integrated campaign strategies into measurable growth programs.
•
Develop distribution and amplification plans around major campaigns and content.

AI-Native Marketing & Execution
•
Be AI-native in how you work, using AI as an everyday part of research, analysis, execution, experimentation, and decision-making – not simply as a writing assistant.
•
Use AI to analyze marketing and performance data, uncover trends and anomalies, synthesize insights, identify growth opportunities, and accelerate reporting.
•
Use AI to accelerate campaign development and experimentation, including audience research, messaging variations, landing-page testing, creative ideation, and performance analysis.
•
Build AI into repeatable workflows to automate manual work, connect information across tools, and increase the speed and quality of marketing execution.
•
Be comfortable working with leading AI platforms and AI-enabled productivity tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Claude Cowork, and similar tools, while continuously evaluating new technologies as the ecosystem evolves.
•
Know how to work effectively with AI-generated analysis: asking the right questions, providing the right context and data, validating outputs, and applying human judgment before acting on recommendations.
•
Proactively identify opportunities where AI can make our marketing organization faster, smarter, more analytical, and more scalable.
Growth Experimentation
•
Maintain a prioritized growth experimentation roadmap.
•
Move quickly from hypothesis to execution
•
Scale what works and stop what doesn't.
•
Proactively bring new ideas, channels, technologies, and opportunities to the team rather than waiting for them to be assigned.
Performance Analytics & Attribution
•
Connect marketing activities to measurable business outcomes.
•
Understand performance across visitor → lead → qualified lead → opportunity → pipeline.
•
Establish KPIs for campaigns and acquisition programs.
•
Monitor acquisition costs, funnel conversion, opportunity creation, pipeline contribution, and campaign ROI.

•
Help leadership understand what's working, what's not, why, and what Marketing should do next.
