How to run the search

Finding the role is step one. Most searches break after Apply.

Find the role. Know the field. Run the follow-up. Laid off, pushed out, or quietly planning your exit, you are in the right place. Here is how to run the search, what a portfolio needs, and which titles pay more for the same work.

  1. Qualify the role. Does this role actually design anything, or is it LMS admin with a better title?
  2. Map the people. Who runs the team, and who you already know one step away from them.
  3. Follow up. The days after Apply are where most applications quietly die.
  4. Prepare. Turn up knowing their problem, not just your portfolio.

Start here

The market right now

Pay, as posted. Who's hiring.

From every open Learning and Development role on the board. Nothing estimated.

Base pay by type of role

Of 135 open Learning and Development roles, 92 posted base pay, from $51K to $389K.

  1. All L&D roles$51K to $389K
  2. Learning and training25 roles$60K to $355K
  3. AI and technical enablement12 roles$95K to $250K
  4. Sales and GTM enablement55 roles$51K to $389K

Base only, in USD. Roles without posted pay are left out, so this leans toward states that require a range. A figure under $20K or over $1M a year is left out as a typo.
