Templates & sequences - write once, deploy fast.
Top reps don't write every email from scratch. They have templates that get personalized at the top and bottom - and a sequence so they never wonder "should I follow up?". Same for you. Build it once.
Templates beat artistry
Custom every time = burnout in week 2. No follow-up = 50% of replies left on the table. The win is a strong template + 2 personalized lines + a disciplined sequence.
Most replies don't come on the first message. They come on touch #3.
Anatomy of a message that gets a reply
The 5 ingredients
- Specific subject line. Not "Hello" or "Networking". → "Inbound from a fellow [their function] - quick question."
- Personalized first line. Reference something they shared, posted, said. Proves you're not blasting.
- Reason for the reach. One sentence. What you're up to. What you're hoping for.
- Specific ask, with a graceful out. "15-min coffee chat - totally fine if not."
- Easy close. Calendar link or "happy to send a 3-bullet brief if useful."
The 4-touch sequence
Balance is the whole game
Multi-channel, minimum 2-3 touches
Three templates that work
Make them yours
Prompt 1 of 4: Customize Template A for your top Tier 1
Prompt 2 of 4: Customize Template B for an intro you want
Prompt 3 of 4: Your subject line bank - write 5
Prompt 4 of 4: Your "voice rules" - 3 do's and 3 don'ts
Where Role Trackr fits in
Builder Open Builder. Build your sequences once - email templates, LinkedIn messages, tasks, timing, all in one place. The killer feature is variables: Builder pulls from your job application, contact, custom fields, and profile to customize every message for you. It schedules each touch and queues them up. You review, edit, or hit AI Enhance, then approve - and Builder sends it. You always have the final say. The sequence just keeps running until you stop it.
