Of the roles that left their company's board in the last 30 days, the median was listed 1 days (142 roles first seen from October 30, 2026 on). The board is 13 days old, so no role here can show more than that yet; the figure grows as the record does.

Method and limits
Every night Shep reads the public job boards of 2,000+ tech companies on Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby and Workable (73,393 postings last night) and keeps US and remote roles in nine fields: sales, customer success, marketing, operations, people, product, engineering, design, and learning and development. A role stays in the file while it is open and for 30 days after it closes.
- Facts only. No job descriptions: those are the employers’ words.
- Closed means the company’s board stopped listing the role, not that it was filled. Aged means it dropped out of our nightly sample for 7 days (Shep refreshes the 8 newest roles a company lists each night), so it may still be listed; aged roles never count toward days listed.
- Counts are roles on our board. Shep keeps up to 8 new roles from a company each night, so a big company’s total is higher.
- It covers companies that post on these four job systems, not LinkedIn, Indeed or Workday, so it describes tech and startup hiring, not the whole market.
- Pay is as posted. A yearly figure under $20,000 or over $1,000,000 is a typo on the posting and is left out of the medians.
The columns
- company, title, field, title_group
- Who is hiring, for what, in which of the nine fields Shep sorts roles into.
- location, remote
- Where the role is, as the company states it, and whether it is remote.
- pay_min, pay_max, pay_currency, pay_unit
- Pay exactly as the company posted it. Blank when it posted none.
- first_seen, last_seen
- The night Shep first saw the role, and the last night it was among the roles Shep keeps for that company.
- status, closed
- open; closed, when the company’s board stopped listing it; or aged, when it dropped out of our nightly sample for 7 days, so it may still be listed. closed is the night it changed.
- days_listed
- Days from first seen to closed, or to last night if it is still open. Blank for aged roles and for roles first seen in the board’s first week.
- ats, url
- The job system the company uses, and the role’s page on roletrackr.com.
